Mt. Rainier

14,411 ft.  – 5 days  – Trips available: July-August (2013 Calendar)

Intermediate:

  • The Emmons Glacier is a great introduction to Mt. Rainier. The climb takes on a remote feel on the beautiful moraine approach to our first camp on the Interglacier. From there we have a shorter day up to Camp Sherman. We’ll establish camp, review necessary skills and attempt the summit from there. Our itinerary reserves a day in case of bad weather to increase our chances of success high on the mountain.
