Mt. Baker

10,781 ft.  – 3-5 day trips  – Best time to climb: June-August (2013 Calendar)

Intermediate:

  • Easton Glacier is a beautiful climb through massive crevasse that are relatively easy to navigate – making it a great first glacier-climb. It features the steep snow of the Roman Wall (seen above) guarding the summit. The Easton is also a great place for crevasse rescue training and practice.
  • Coleman-Deming Glacier is another excellent glaciated route which approaches from the Western slope of the mountain. It joins the Easton route on the Roman Wall
